How much is it going to cost?
This is very hard to estimate as it depends on how much stuff you
have but we estimate that the typical contents of a two/three
bed house would cost about £50 a week.
How do I cut the cost?
It’ll be cheaper if you don’t take out the storage company’s
insurance – but it is probably a good idea to insure your own
stuff. Avoid shelling out on their storage boxes by getting hold
of free boxes from supermarkets, work etc.
Why do I need storage space?
You'll probably need extra storage space for your property and items at some stage in your life. You could be moving home, or re-decorating. Even clearing the spare room for a new arrival. No matter the reason, you can store in clean, secure rooms for as long as you want.
What sizes of room are there?
Storage rooms come in all shapes and sizes, from a wardrobe sized room to bigger than your living room size. So you can store as little or as much as you need to. To make things as easy as possible, their is also a wide range of packing materials available in most self storage locations.
Is it safe and secure?
Your goods are safe - CCTV is monitored by staff round the clock in 99% of storage company warehouses, and every room is protected by its own alarm. Some have unique PIN entry access, while most have well lit corridors and fire detection systems.
Can I always get to my storeditems?
You get easy access to your things whenever you need it with walk-in access available 7 days a week at storage companys. Plus with most, you can arrange to get into your self storage room out of normal hours if you need to.
